What is REACH? Recreation, Education and Academics for Children, one of several state-funded Expanded Learning Programs (ELP) offered by the YMCA of San Diego County in partnership with the National School District.The YMCA of San Diego County partners with local school districts, families, and communities to offer students safe and nurturing expanded learning programs that prepare them for college, career, and life. Â
This free program provides a structured Robotics STEM program for Transitional Kindergarten to Grade 6 students from the elementary school sites in National City
Students will work on Arduino-based robotic projects while learning about all the robotics subsystems and components in a fun way.
On each DAN Cycle kids will be exposed to different projects and areas of learning on the robotics field:
RoboThink is a step-by-step international learning program. All levels accepted. New projects on each cycle.
Our mission is to provide quality STEM education in Robotics and Coding to motivate children to pursue a future in science and technology (especially girls, children from low-income families, and minorities).
